The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) assists persons and

Qualified farm workers receive job training and/or classroom training to increase their basic skills or work skills in order to obtain unsubsidized employment. Provide work readiness training along with supportive services with the goal of helping people reach a higher level of self-sufficiency. In tough economic times, sometimes many people need a little help to get by. Our Good Neighbor Fund, funded through the generosity of our employees, shareholders and customers was established to help those in need.
PNM customers who are facing a financial emergency can receive a grant to help pay part or all of a past-due PNM bill. Every year, the Good Neighbor Fund distributes tens of thousands of dollars to hundreds of families in our service area for bill payment support. This program is administered by Samaritan House in Las Vegas, NM.

The only state owned and operated psychiatric hospital in New Mexico. NMBHI is made up of five clinical divisions serving a wide range of public needs. Each division is separately licensed and has its own unique admission criteria. The most familiar is the inpatient care we offer adult psychiatric patients. We provide adult psychiatric services on six units, serving approximately 1000 admissions per year.
