La Jicarita Food Bank- Bi-weekly food distribution, no registration required, nobody turned away. SPOT Office-The Spot Office Is dedicated to providing essential navigation services and community outreach opportunities. Printing, Fax, Penasco Independent School District (PISD) food distribution- must have a student enrolled in school, homeschooled students qualify too. Penasco Theater Collective- Penasco Theatre Collective Offers Multidisciplinary Arts and Performance Classes and Workshops. Their Program Addresses the need for integrated student supports in our community by providing access to after school resources, activities and supports within the communities. Art for the Heart- Art for the Heart is an "art for healing" project of MAS. Services Offered - free play days Tuesdays 10-1 pm, reduced workshop fees, unlimited use of studio with lots of art supplies, sewing machines, fabric, wool, yarns etc. Every Thursday is a free Hersday group 1-3. Picuris-Peñasco Community Coalition (PPCC)- The mission of the PPCC is to improve the health and wellness of the people of Picuris Pueblo and the 15 villages in the service area by collaborating with health and wellness service providers working in the community. Community Learning Garden- provides skill and relationship-building activities for youth and residents to build overall happiness and improve the mental health of the participants. Re-Use Center- The Chamisal ReUse Center is located at the Solid Waste Transfer Station in Chamisal. The center is a place to drop off and adopt reusable goods that otherwise end up in the landfill. Penasco Computer Lab - The Lab offers Free Wifi , Public Computer Access and CHW services/On site training services. Having a CHW on site provides support to help those who are not technologically literate.

Tiwa Babies services promote optimal child and family development. Services are universal, at no cost, and provided in the family’s home or another location of the family’s choice. We offer our services to Native Families and Non-Native Families living in Taos County.

Twirl hosts onsite early childhood family classes 3x a week; classes are $5 or free of charge to anyone who asks. The Twirl Playground is open, free of charge, to families during business hours Wednesday through Mondays. Science Saturdays and Art Studio Saturdays are Twice monthly from 11-1, and Twirl signature events happen on site 8x a year, and are always free of charge

• In 2020, approximately 150 school children received supplemental weekend food through our backpacks program.
• Special foods at Thanksgiving and Christmas, including turkeys and hams.

The Talpa Community Center is proud to host a weekly Friday market from 7:30 am-2:00pm for neighbors to buy fresh fruits and veggies, as well as support local agriculture. This market began in 2021 and has become a neighborhood favorite location for regional growers, farmers, artisans, and youth vendors.

Questa Farmers Market’s (QFM) paid youth internship program offers work-based learning, mentorship and skill development focused on the local farm to market economic system. Interns are able to work on a variety of projects each season. Internships include set activities and additional opportunities tailored by the student to fit their interests. The intended age group is 14 to 18, however younger people may apply. We will begin hiring in April / May 2024.
