A Taos teen co-op and café that plans to have a menu be open to the public for lite coffee style breakfast and lunch items. In the afternoon we plan to have a "menu of activities' for teens including poetry slams, game rooms, study areas, and snacks. An emergency shelter and resources for youth throughout northern New Mexico, including Colfax, Mora, Rio Arriba, Taos and Union counties. Youth ages 12 to 17 can stay as little as an hour or up to 90 days. While at DreamTree, staff will help youth evaluate their situation and navigate available options. The light is always on, all you have to do is show up. LGBTQ safe and friendly.

CAV offers a 24-Hour HELPline (575) 758-9888 and 24-Hour TEXTline (575) 770-2706 for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. We provide legal and medical advocacy services, counseling and support groups, children’s programs, community prevention and outreach programs, and are able to provide information and resources for those in need. CAV also has an on-site emergency shelter for adults and children, and offers short and long-term transitional housing programs.

Two showers are available to clients, one for women and one for men. We supply clients clean towels, shampoo, and soap. Cleanliness helps clients to feel happy and confident.
Local churches, businesses, organizations, and individuals donate clothing and household items to us every week. These items are available for free to our clients and their children.
In times of emergency like eviction, extreme cold, and house fires, clients may require temporary housing in a motel. We provide this service, and we also direct clients to housing agencies.

We take a balanced approach that allows families to restore connection and trust, which keeping everyone safe. It is possible to be kind and compassionate while holding boundaries and holding people accountable. We will show you how.
Is the Family Empowerment Project right for me?
This program is designed to help those who want to help their loved ones, but don’t know how. The three primary goals are to help you help your loved one to reduce or stop their addictive behaviors; get that person to voluntarily go into treatment; and to improve the quality of your life.

Eligibility for Services: Third grade students at Parkview Elementary School are eligible. Contact the principal at Parkview if you would like your child to receive services.
Eligibility for Tutors: NMT students in good standing are eligible to work for MATCH. Service Details: The Literacy Mentorship program hires dedicated NMT students to mentor third graders at Parkview Elementary School. Working as a mentor requires a 5 to 10-hour weekly commitment. NMT student mentors are expected to participate in after- school programs at Parkview Elementary two days per week, either on a Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday schedule. Additional opportunities to mentor are available. Pay is $12-$14/hour, depending on training and experience. NMT mentors must enroll in Mentoring and Leadership, a weekly seminar that meets on Friday afternoons and provides mentor training.

Catron counties and the Alamo Navajo reservation to get hands-on experience working
with robotics. Different programs for different levels are available including Lego
League, Tech Challenge, and Robotics Challenge. -

The Summer STEM Experience provides a week long opportunity for participants to collaborate with fellow students, faculty, and staff who share the same interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

counties, enabling rural rotation relationships to be developed in every county
statewide.
Support training, recruitment and retention of Primary Care Physicians in New
Mexico.
Develop strong partnerships with the University of New Mexico (UNM) and
regional medical schools to recruit residents familiar with New Mexico and the
southwest into training programs.
Assist with the development of new residency programs and rotations.
Expand rotations into other Primary Care Specialties (i.e., Psychiatry, Pediatrics,
Internal Medicine, and Dentistry).
Improve communication between family medicine residency programs. -

Offenders – Any admitted offender or individual who has been court-ordered to participate in a Batterers Intervention Program.
Service Details - Provides shelter and services to victims of domestic violence. El Puente also provides legal services, orders of protection, counseling and 24-hour crisis intervention and assistance, along with food, clothing, supplies and transportation to participants.
For offenders, El Puente has a state-certified Batterers Intervention Program.

The WIC program aims to help low income and nutritional at-risk women, infants and children. Though federally funded, each state manages their own WIC program. This includes determining the WIC eligibility requirements, provide benefits, services and determining what foods WIC participants can purchase using their voucher/checks or in some cases, their EBT card, at WIC authorized food stores.

- Once you complete the accommodation application, the Coordinator will review your application and contact you within a week to schedule an intake appointment. Once the intake appointment is completed, the Coordinator will review the information and determine the appropriate accommodations.
- The Coordinator will notify the Student of approved accommodations via their San Juan College email.

NMFINDER.org is an online program designed to connect individuals to appropriate community resources across New Mexico aimed to improve their quality of life. It operates under The Center for Development and Disability (CDD), New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service (UCEDD).

o Other activities and programs aimed at reducing DWI related problemsThe Socorro County DWI Program has become active in collaborating with area agencies in providing information and referral to organizations and the general public, as well as encouraging involvement, developing and engaging a viable and active DWI Council. The SCDWI program has partnered with organizations throughout the county playing an active role with Socorro County’s Health Council; SCOPE (Socorro County Options; Prevention and Education), City of Socorro Mayor’s Drug Task Force and the SW Regional Substance Abuse Collaborative (SAC).
The Socorro County DWI Program has an active Advisory Council who has been actively working together towards educating and providing positive programming in Socorro County to combat DWI issues. This board is representative of the County ethnicity and concerned organizations with DWI and alcohol abuse; has continually reviewed and followed the bylaws for the council ratified by the Socorro County Commissioners. The SCDWI Advisory Council meets, once a month conduct.

Casa de Luz is a family advocacy center contracted with the state Children, Youth and Families Department to provide community-based prevention, intervention and reunifi-cation services. Its goal is to prevent child abuse and maltreatment.
Casa de Luz can help with individual or family counseling, parenting education and strategies, life skills and sometimes accessing inpatient services.
Staff members do their best to avoid further traumatizing children by taking them from their home. If it’s necessary to take a child out of their home, they try to place the child with extended family or fictive kin, someone the parents or children already
have a strong rela-tionship with. -

The equity council has to assess and create a framework for how the district meets the needs of vulnerable learners in an equitable manner. Vulnerable learners include low income students, students with disabilities, English language learners
and Native American students.The ultimate goal is that the council will create a culturally and linguistically responsive framework that says, ‘this is how we meet the needs of students in an equitable manner.’
The ultimate deliverable is that we create an advisement package and present that to the school board and say ‘these are the recommendations we have in terms of how we can better meet the needs of vulnerable populations.'

Socorro Consolidated Schools participates in the School Breakfast Program and the National School Lunch Program through the U.S. Department of Agriculture. SFE offers several hot entrée selections and side dishes daily from our Culinary Creations. Our Executive Chefs are already hard at work creating nutritious, made from scratch recipes to add to your schools’ menus.

INTERVENTION NM GRADS provides training, technical assistance, assessment, and resources for all NM GRADS programs. Each site focuses on the ten NM GRADS competencies, including reducing repeat pregnancies. NM GRADS key elements are user friendly for district and school Educational Plans for Student Success that target at-risk youth and teen parents. NM GRADS Competencies are aligned with NM Performance Standards and Benchmarks in Health Education and the National Family And Consumer Sciences.
CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTERS Our CYFD licensed Child Development Centers (at 14 sites) model effective parenting in an educationally stimulating setting with highly qualified staff . GRADS CDC’s promote healthy best practices including breast feeding, nutrition, developing secure relationships and work with parents to encourage and educate positive life-style choices.
FATHERHOOD Young fathers are supported both in the classroom and through additional case management support by fatherhood mentors to meet their unique needs. Through relationship building, father-child focused activities and the 24/7
Dads Curriculum, GRADS fathers are supported in their parenting and personal journeys.COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS NM GRADS focuses on both short and long term goal setting with young families to support high school graduation. Through dual-credit, advanced placement and alternative educational opportunities, GRADS students receive comprehensive support in College and Career Readiness and develop a Career Plan and Portfolio including letters of recommendation, resumes and certificates.

● New Mexico Mathematics, Engineering, and Science Achievement (NM MESA and/or MESA) is a pre-college program that prepares students for college and careers in mathematics, engineering, science or technically related fields. The MESA program is coordinated through six regional offices, each staffed by a Regional Coordinator, that is hosted at a local higher education institution, including: University of New Mexico main-campus (UNM), New Mexico Highlands University (NMHU), UNM Gallup, New Mexico State University (NMSU), Santa Fe Community College (SFCC) and Eastern New Mexico University Roswell (ENMU).
● NM MESA also offers a senior “Loyalty Award” to graduating high school seniors who enroll in college the fall they graduate from high school. This award, which can be as much as $1,000 per student, is based on the student’s MESA participation during middle and high school, academic grades and standardized test scores.
